With the right attachments, your forklift becomes a custom tool: clamping rolls, tilting drums, handling two pallets at once. Here is the overview — including the effect on residual capacity that is often forgotten.

Paper roll clamps rotating and clamping rollers without damage; bale clamps bales of pressed material (paper, textiles, plastics); white goods and box clamps moving appliances and stacked boxes without a pallet. Crucial is the correct clamping pressure — adjustable per product type, ensuring you do not damage anything.
A rotator rotates the load 360° — essential for emptying bins and crates in the food and recycling industries. Drum clamps and tilters packages and empty drums are inspected. For bulk goods, there are scoops; for long loads fork extensions (watch the load center of gravity!).

Each attachment adds weight and shifts the load center of gravity forward. A 2.5-ton truck with a paper roll clamp sometimes lifts only 1,600–1,800 kg. Therefore, always have the calculate remaining capacity before you order — we do this by default with every quote and supply the corresponding capacity plate (mandatory).

Attachments require additional hydraulic functions (3rd/4th valve) and the correct flow rate. When configuring a new machine, we set this up correctly right away; we can also install a lot of equipment on existing trucks afterwards. We work with A-brand equipment such as Cascade and deliver everything fully assembled, tested, and inspected at your electric forklifts of diesel forklifts.

Depending on the weight and thickness of the attachment, easily 20 to 35 percent. That is why we always formally calculate the residual capacity and supply an updated capacity plate.
