Employers are legally required to have work equipment inspected periodically. VA-keur is the recognized standard for forklifts — that is how it works.
VA-keur is the independent inspection system for mobile work equipment. A certified inspector checks the forklift annually for safety: brakes, mast, chains, hydraulics, lighting, and more. After approval, the machine receives a sticker and report — your proof for the Labor Inspectorate and insurer.
Yes. The Dutch Working Conditions Decree (Arbobesluit) requires periodic inspection of work equipment by an expert. In the event of an accident without a valid inspection, you as an employer are immediately at a disadvantage — with potential fines and liability.
An inspection typically costs €100–€200 per machine per year. With us, it is simpler: every Hyundai — new or used — is delivered by us with a standard VA inspection, and our service department automatically schedules the annual inspection, on-site or in our workshop.
In addition to the machine, the operator must also be demonstrably qualified (forklift certificate). Combine the inspection with a brief instruction — we will arrange this upon delivery.

At least annually, more frequently with intensive use. VA-keur is the recognized standard.
The inspection of work equipment is mandatory under the Working Conditions Decree (Arbobesluit); VA-keur is the widely accepted implementation of this for internal transport.
Here we do: every machine is VA-inspected and delivered ready to ride. Our service department also arranges re-inspections.
