""2 metric tons" means 2,000 kg with a load center of 500 mm—a standard pallet. Deeper or wider loads shift the center of gravity and reduce the safe lifting capacity. Therefore, allow a margin of 20–25% above your heaviest load and read capacity of 1.5 to 30 tons explained.

1.5–1.8 tons: compact and agile

2–2.5 tons: the all-rounder

Building materials, beverages, paper, machinery — or lighter loads with heavy attachments (clamps cost capacity!). Look 3 ton forklift and 35BE-X.
