Next month is the time: with the 180B-X Hyundai shifts its electric lineup towards 18 tons. Work that could previously only be done with diesel will soon be emission-free — this is what you need to know.
The 180B-X is the new top model of the high-voltage li-ion B-X series (Product of the Year 2025): a fully electric forklift with an 18,000 kg lifting capacity. This brings heavy work — steel, beton, wood, heavy machinery — within reach of emission-free equipment, with the torque and continuous power performance that the B-X series has already proven in classes up to 16 tons.
For everyone who does heavy lifting and also deals with emission requirements: steel trade and metal, concrete industry, ports and transshipment, and construction logistics around zero-emission construction sites. Even companies reducing their carbon footprint without sacrificing productivity are now seriously looking at this class — especially with the tax benefits on electric equipment.
The high-voltage li-ion powertrain delivers instant torque and consistent performance throughout the shift. Opportunity charging during breaks keeps the machine operational all day; a battery swap is not necessary. We provide situation-specific advice on charging capacity and connection — see also our experience with charging infrastructure.
Diesel remains available up to 30 tons in the Heavy Line and holds its ground during very long operating hours on remote sites. But in the 10-to-18-tonne class, there will be a fully electric alternative for the first time starting in September — count on our TCO guide what that means for your costs per operating hour.
As the official importer, we supply the 180B-X from its introduction, with VA approval, instruction, and service through the nationwide dealer network. The first production slots are limited: you can reserve now via the 180B-X product page or call 0168 467 467 — you will be the first to receive a message as soon as the introduction specifications and prices are final.

18,000 kg — making it the heaviest fully electric forklift in the Hyundai lineup.
Yes, for most applications in this class: direct torque, constant performance, and opportunity charging during breaks. Only for very long operating hours without charging capability does diesel remain more logical.
The introductory price is available upon request. Those who reserve will be the first to receive the final proposal, including any introductory discount.
